Louis Vuitton

After much speculation and huge anticipation, the first images of the Yayoi Kusama for Louis Vuitton handbag collection have finally been released.

The Japanese artist, known throughout the world for her repetitive, rhythmic, and even hypnotic work with polka dot patterns met Marc Jacobs on one of his recent visits to Tokyo and decided to celebrate Kusama’s unique style in an extensive collection named “Infinity Dots” for the Louis Vuitton label.

The collection appears to be mainly Vuitton classics redone in monogram leather with Kusama’s signature spots printed on top in various, contrasting colours. Guaranteed to turn heads, these bags will punctuate monochrome outfits and are a fun way to add some colour to your wardrobe. Here at Boutique Handbags we fell in love with the pink and white spotted Lockit tote that is sprinkled with eye-catching details and oh-so perfect for bustling Summer days in the city. The yellow and black dotted Papillon shoulder bag also had us excited as it exudes a super playful attitude and would look fabulous when paired with matching heals and your favourite dress. The collection looks set to become available from October and could well be on everyones Christmas wish list!
